Come join retreat leaders Olivia, Dorcas and guest teacher Luccia on a six day / five night back to Mother Earth, back to bountiful simplicity retreat. During this week long voyage together, we will take time to nurture and learn about the four main elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. In addition, we have intentionally aligned four fundamental emotions: Love, Sadness, Anger and Joy to uncover and embrace. Each day will be re-discovery of one of these elements and one of these emotions; where you will be able to explore and bring to life these aspects by the way of kundalini yoga, pranayama, creative-hands-on workshops, healing ceremonies, journal prompts, reflection time and much more. We wanted to call this retreat Daughters of the Elements, as will have a focus on the divine feminine energy – and what this truly is. As each of us is both masculine and feminine all are welcome.
We invite you to retrain your eyes, ears, touch, all the senses to see and feel the healing powers of the fundamental elements and foundational emotions. We will disconnect from the outside world, and focus on the power of the present, the power of softness and power of the divine feminine receiving Mother Earth energy. We will inspire you to step into “nothingness” and release the need for “over production”. We will get back to the basics, our roots and our true being.
When we are aligned with the elements of our Universe and understand our own emotional systems we will indefinitely create more peace, freedom, connection to the present and everyday life brilliance.
Location: Tinhela610 Eco-Lodge / Tras-os-Montes region, Portugal (30km Douro Valley region & 1.5hr from Porto Airport)

Rates + Rooms + Bathing:
The cabins are conceived to promote the best quality sleep possible with tailor-made twin beds (or queen depending on reservation) that are equipped with all natural mattresses from CocoMat, fine Portuguese linens and soft wool blankets from Burel Portugal. Black-out curtains are installed as well as deep sleep is facilitated in a very dark room. Plenty of built-in storage space and a niche to sit and write are the final touches to these extraordinary cabins. We have three types of rooms available: Single room option, Double room option and Triple room option.

Bathing:
Bathe in a Japanese inspired bathhouse with pure water from a local source. Detox in a traditional Finnish wood burning sauna then jump into the cool, clean Tinhela river. Ecological soaps and shampoos are provided in line with the commitment to safeguard the environment and protect the organic water treatment system. We encourage you to only use ecological products while at Tinhela610.

Pricing conditions:
To confirm your stay, a deposit of €400 must be paid by bank transfer
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 10 days before the start of the stay.
If you have to cancel due to personal reasons, all payments you have sent before April 31st are non-refundable unless you find a replacement guest.
Getting to the Tinhela610:
The best route would be to fly directly to Porto Airport in Portugal and from their take a taxi (uber or bolt) to the eco-lodge. It is about a 90min car ride and is quite beautiful. As it is a distance, once we have our guest’s itinerary we will help support the organization of taxi to and from the airport.
Please Note:
Due to the rocky and often steep and sinuous mountainous paths, this wilderness terrain was not suitable to adapt for handicap/mobility access.

All guests will have access to the four shared bathrooms
Support the “unplug” no telephones at workshops, yoga or ceremony
Remote location, please bring what you need
Due to the remoteness of this location we can’t ensure safety for women who are past the first trimester
We will be sending out a retreat guest form + packing list
We recommend arriving at the retreat center on Sunday May 19 around 4pm and departing the retreat center on Friday May 24 around 11:30am
