After our last Gaia Holistic retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru, we were left in the dark on where to venture next…we discussed everything from Egypt to Iceland, and found beautiful retreat centers all over the world, but nothing seemed to sparkle with that “ultimate knowing” the way Peru and Greece did. We decided to take a step back, make some space for Spirit to guide us, and when we got together in Colorado in December, we asked to be shown our next destination. We spun the map and just like that, Panama lit up with an all-knowing glow, and we smiled at each other and knew.
We found Alaya, contacted them, and received a response within 24 hours. Just like that, all the pieces were seamlessly coming together. We had a video call with the owners a week later, and fell in love with the family that runs it. Now here we are announcing our Be the Miracle, The Compassionate Way Retreat!
Alaya was built around the idea of “coming home,” connecting with your Spirit and the true rhythm of your heart, and this is exactly what we will bring to life together. With luxury villas, domes and bungalows, star gazing beds, private pools, supreme landscapes, and the perfect harmony of adventure and serenity, indulgence and sustainability, individuality, and community.
Be the Miracle Retreat came to life from an inner calling to truly debunk the idea of a miracle, and the stigma that miracles only happen sparingly and to certain people. During our time together, we hope to reframe and honor the true understanding of a miracle, and that it can be found in every moment, every experience, and every aspect of you. Once we all begin to integrate this perspective, we can live more in the present, and honor everything with a deeper sense of knowing, feeling, trusting, and pure perfection.
The Compassionate Way came forth once we started discussing how to teach the Miracle concept, and instantly Source spoke and whispered, “compassion is the key”. We’ll explore trusting, forgiving, leading with your heart, and ultimately knowing that if you want to make a big difference it has to begin with you. Your everyday interactions, and the belief that everything has a ripple effect.
Our vision for you on this gentle, soft, and very powerful experience is to uplift you, allowing you to shine fully so that you can then reflect this outward into the world. To embrace yourself, others, the community in Panama, and the new memories that will be made and imprinted within you for a lifetime. We have curated a thoughtful, authentic experience to support you every step of the way.
All of the activities we’ll explore will offer you teachings on how to be the Miracle and live compassionately. This golden thread will be woven into all daily yoga practices, educational workshops, healing ceremonies, journaling, Quartz sound meditations, Reiki, Traditional Chinese Medicine, free time, and, of course, with all the renowned Gaia Holistic surprises you’ll encounter along the way.
Of course, we have decided to host this excursion during the Spring Equinox and the Libra Full Moon. This is an auspicious time, full of celebration, joy, and learning to let your divine Star energy shine forward.
We will nourish our bodies with organic and locally sourced food, all prepared with love by our own private chef. At this Gaia Holistic Retreat, all three meals will be included: lunch, breakfast, and dinner. The chef will offer a variety of vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and carnivore options. Stay tuned for more to come on the specifics once we get closer.
Staying true to Gaia Holistic, we’ll get in touch with the culture of Panama and partake in local activities, such as visiting a sacred waterfall, a traditional cacao ceremony, and volunteering at a local school. The retreat center also offers many water based activities such as fishing and paddleboarding if you choose to partake during your free time.

Every suite opens onto a private deck with an outdoor living room and a stargazing net, perfect for unwinding beneath the night sky. Inside, the domes feature air conditioning, a cozy loft, ensuite bathroom.

Each dome sits on a private 100 m² platform, with its own orientation — from sunrise over the hills of Cañas to golden sunsets over Isla Cañas, every suite frames a unique perspective of the ocean and jungle. On your private deck, a HotSpring® jacuzzi — among the finest in the world — invites you to soak while listening to the rhythms of nature. The deck also features a stargazing net and an outdoor living room, creating a sanctuary for both relaxation and connection. Inside, the domes are designed for versatility and comfort, with air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with hot water, and a cozy loft.

The most secluded domes, perched for full ocean views and unforgettable sunsets over Isla Cañas. Designed for privacy and tranquility, they invite you to fully disconnect and immerse yourself in nature’s beauty. Each suite opens onto a private deck with plunge pool, outdoor lounge, and a stargazing net — perfect for quiet moments under the open sky. Inside, the dome combines comfort and design with a bathtub facing the view, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with hot water, and a cozy loft for additional sleeping space.
Villa Mandala / Flexible:
$5750 (private room/one king bed)

Mandala is the soul — a three-bedroom villa created for connection, comfort, and unforgettable moments in nature. From your private pool, you can watch the sun set over the jungle while monkeys pass along their daily route — a magical reminder that here, you are part of the rhythm of the land. The villa blends indoor and outdoor living with ease: a shaded terrace and BBQ area for long evenings together, open-air lounging spaces, and interiors filled with light and warmth. A fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning throughout ensure effortless comfort for every guest.

Transportation is not included in the cost of the retreat. We will organize the transportation closer to the date once we know the size of the group. Please keep in mind these details:
1. You will need to arrive in Panama City on March 18th, as we will reserve a private plane to depart Panama City at 8 am on March 19th to take our group to the retreat center. In addition, this private plane will take you back to Panama City on the 24th, so we recommend booking your flight home for the 25th.
2. Upon booking, we will provide you with the best hotels and tours in Panama City to ensure you will be supported in your arrival and departure experiences, and if you want to extend your trip to explore the city!
3. You can plan to budget around $300-450 for the round-trip taxi and plane, but please keep in mind, this pricing depends on the size of our group so it may change and shift.
